I Saw a Huge Rat Staring at Me on My Stoop

When I saw the huge rat outside my stoop, I knew I had to call a pest controller to get rid of it. There is no way I am going to get rid of it on my own. Even if I had the proper equipment to do it, I would rather pay hundreds of pounds to get a professional to remove it from my stoop. I am sure it is not the only rat, which is preying on smaller pests outside my stoop. At night, I could hear the dreaded squeaking sounds they make. My boyfriend had tried to get rid of the rat using a long, sturdy branch with a sharp end, which he had found during our evening walks around the plot. However, he only managed to scare our next-door neighbour’s dog. I am hoping that the pest controller is able to come tomorrow to get rid of the monster rat.
